SOLAR BASED MOBILE CHARGER FOR RURAL AREAS WITH BATTERY VOLTAGE ANALYZER

ABSTRACT

With the existing push in the direction of sustainable, clean sources of power, it is no surprise that solar power has become one of the most popular alternative energy sources. Free and available everywhere, the power of the sun can be employed to power everything like cell phones and MP3 player. The suns energy is usually harvested through solar panels that are made up of photovoltaic cells. These cells can convert the suns power into electricity that can be used for a number of purposes. For private use, a handheld solar hybrid charger can be employed to recharge little device for instance a MP3 player, a cell phone, or a camera.

A normal PN junction diode is used for unidirectional flow of charge current. The output of the solar panel depends on the intensity of the solar light. Use of embedded technology makes this system efficient and reliable. Micro controller (ATMega8 / 168 / 328) allows dynamic and faster control. Liquid crystal display (LCD) makes the system user-friendly. ARDUINO is the heart of the circuit as it controls all the functions.

In this project the usage of solar energy by using solar panels are used .A voltage sampler is interfaced with the system to get the voltage generated on a 16X2 LCD.

An alternative charger circuit is also provided to charge the mobile by house hold general purpose 230V in the absence of the sun light. This charge circuit uses regulated 5V, 750mA power supply. 7805 three terminal voltage regulator is used for voltage regulation. Bridge type full wave rectifier is used to rectify the ac output of secondary of 230/18V step down transformer.

SMS BASED WIRELESS ELECTRONIC NOTICE BOARD USING GSM CDMA 3G MOBILE PHONE

ABSTRACT:

Notice Board is primary thing in any institution / organization or public utility places like bus stations, railway stations and parks. But sticking various notices day-to-day is a difficult process. A separate person is required to take care of this notices display. This project deals about an advanced hi-tech wireless notice board.

The project is built around the AT89S52 micro controller from Atmel. This micro controller provides all the functionality of the display and wireless control. It also takes care of creating different display effects for given text.

Matrix type display is designed using 5mm LED on a printed circuit board. A driver circuit is designed to drive all these LEDs. A GSM/CDMA Mobile Can is used to enter the required text or notice. The scrolling speed of the text also can be changed according to user requirement.

After entering the text the SMS is sent to the no which is connected to the LED display. At any time the user can add or remove or alter the text according to his requirement.

At the receiving end the GSM modem which is connected to the Max 232 receives the message and is connected to the microcontroller AT89S52. The message which is already stored in the EEPROM is displayed on the LED Display.

This project uses regulated 5V, 500mA power supply. 7805 three terminal voltage regulator is used for voltage regulation. Bridge type full wave rectifier is used to rectify the ac out put of secondary of 230/12V step down transformer.

So, even Mobile Phone in Offline mode, its still make a network connection with certain distance, and it is can disturb communication and navigation system on Plane.

It is happen because Mobile Phone design to send and receive signal. on FM radio for example, Oscillator Frequency that radio has also could disturb VHF signal Navigation that Plane Has.

The farther our Mobile Phone distance with BTS in Land, the stronger signal emitted by Mobile Phone to maximum, and make a greater disturb impact. this thing could make communication between pilot and control tower disturb which can make Pilot error on reading Instrumen panel and disaster happen.

Especially on landing and take off, this is a critical fase where many accindent happen on this fase, that is why it is normal when crew in cabin asking all the passenger tu torn off all electronic devices during the passengers on a Plane.
