Two middle aged under achieving adults from 2 different families are forced to become step brothers when their parents meet in a medical conference and fall in love. Both "kids" Brennan (Will Ferrell) and Dale (John C. Reilly) fight immaturely and hilariously for their parents affection and attention but in the end drive them away from them and each other. Would the middle aged kids realize when to grow up?
